Assigment for XI IPA class
Make a debate class but the assessment will applied individually. Class XI IPA 6 as pro group while XI IPA 7 as a contra one. The motion is "Students must not be allowed to bring hand-phone to school:.
i agree with that statement about prohibition to bring HP to school.. because i think it is not a good move.. Children from wealthier backgrounds may possess a expensive cell phone while the poorer ones may have something simpler or none at all. This will cause jealousy and may even result in thefts..
but i disagree with that opinion, because i think , HP is a thing that can help us in many problem, like when we didn't bring a calculator , we can use it, but it is not complete like calculator, and HP can help us in connecting with internet, if we think that bring laptop is heavy, you can bring HP. so i think the student will be helped with HP, but it just a little function , and there are many function of Hp that can make us easy in activity. thanks
I didn't agree if the students must not be allowed to bring mobile phones to school. First, we are created as social beings who need human interaction to another, whether far or near we need to communicate by send a message or talk with some peoples. Second, many activities in high school such as practicum in the laboratory that requires mobile phone as a camera to take the picture and as a tool for counting when we count the numbers that consist of decimal digits. Last, we can use the internet facilities when we didn't bring our laptops because laptop is large and heavy, so it's make some trouble to us. That's my reasons if students are prohibited to bring the mobile phones to school, i think it's better if the teacher allowed the students to bring mobile phone to school.
I agree with the opinion of my friend Girang. In my opinion, if we bring HP to school can teach students for a luxurious lifestyle. The students will continue to follow the lifestyle of rich friends. In fact, they can not buy HP with their own savings. The students will ask the parents to buy HP that cost equal to his friends. This of course makes the parents into trouble. In addition, if we brings HP to school can also interfere with the learning process. It can be seen during the process of learning in the classroom, some students use HP to open facebook, games, sms or other facilities. It is certainly very disturbing process of learning in the classroom. So with this prohibition, the student be expected can follow the learning process with properly and smoothly. The third, if we brings HP to school can cause a variety of issues from HP that is lost until use of facilities at HP to commit fraud such as students use the internet facility to find an answer, send answers to his friends with sms, and others. In other words, bring HP to school can make students become dishonest. So, from the description above we can conclude that brings HP to school can cause various problems, so as to anticipate that problem, students should not have to carry the HP to school.
According Ahmad's and Nur's opinion,i agree with them .Because with handphone, we can use of many-many function that it satisfy.
First , with handphone we can sent short message service and call to all people in my life if we need them. Imagine if we (students) not allowed bring handphone to school , communication seem slow because there are several factors, such as we have to send the letter that takes a long time. Besides, we need fast to communicated with another people to give and recieve an information.
In era Globalisation , many Phone Inc. like blackberry and Apple i-phone make smartphone that have many smart function. Like we can browse the internet, listen to music, record video , take picture, make presentation and etc.
In this globalisation , we need access to internet to take some content of knowledge. We can browse Internet with fast . So with Handphone, we have helped.
i dont agree with imaniar opinion, that in fact, they can not buy HP with their own savings. The students will ask the parents to buy HP that cost equal to his friends.
but in another fact, many students have a job in part-time, like they sell any software like me :). i sell 'Brain antivirus' software and i'm a web developer. it can save our money to buy some handphone and other thing :). So, we have many way and not ask money to parrents :to buy some :))
I disagree with that statement about prohibition to bring HP to school , because HP has a many function such as to communicate the other people who was far from us , if we bring HP to school we can give information to our parents about our condition in school and we also can make HP to search information or knowledge which we need. so student is allowed to bring HP to school.
hi everyone,, i am from the pro and i think that what naufal afif said on 18 comments above is make sense,, in fact, even myself,, often put my rubbish inside the desk instead of put it in the rubbish can..
if student could keep the class clean, i think it's okay if we have meal there,, but the fact is almost all of the students of SMADA, including me, couldn't do it,,
so, in my opinion, the school should forbidden the students have meal in the classroom,,, at least until the student realize, and decide to destroy the bad habit...
i'm in line with that statement my opinion is hp has a very large electromagnetic waves. so it is recommended that we not too often bring hp, let alone at school.
so by not bringing hp school students concentrate more on learning than with hp (especially for them who have a love affair with lover) and they also can avoid the electromagnetic waves that are dangerous to their health.

I’m personally disagree with that statement about “Students must not be allowed to bring hand-phone to school” and I’m agree with that opinion my friends like aim,bangkit,hilmy, n govin actually handphone is very important for students. Firstly, most studets have handphone for communicate with their parent about that condition in their school. And we can sent short messages when we need their parent . Second, activity in school usually need handphone, like this we often use calculator to calculate mathematics, use camera handphone to save images when practicum. Besides that,if our handphone has facilities such as internet, certainly student use the internet in handphone for browsing for search information or chatting with friends in facebook,twitter,etc if don’t bring laptop. I personally disagree with that statement. There are many reason why I disagree with "Students must not be allowed to bring hand-phone to school”. Firstly, as astudent we need to communicate with our family, especialy our parents at home. When we will go home, and we need our parents to pick up us, we need to send a message or call them with handphone. Beside that, handphone has many function, for example handphone can be use as calculator when we don’t bring calculator. Browsing when we don’t bring a laptop and take a picture when we don’t bring digital camera at experiment. From the fact above, I conclude that handphone are very important for student. Because handphone can support us when we are studying.
I disagree with the statement , because handphone is important thing for teenagers especially students. Because what ? First Because handphone can help students when we got a difficult problem of some lesson, we can browse internet from handphone, beside it can help us to solve our mathematic problem or another lesson who have a mathematic formula, we can finished that with use calculator from handphone.
Second, when students have important problem , and we need handphone to communicate with others to solve the problem . Such us when there was a sad news. when there are items left behind / lost we can call our friends to ask or help.
The last, with the increasing technology in the era modern, students need to be mobile to Increase the knowledge of technological developments. as a generation we need to learn technology one of them we can learn with small things like handphone. because many facilities on mobile phones. And then we can compete with international students in the area technology. so our country is not known as a country that does not follow the trend of technology.
I disagree with the opinion. HP is also very important for communicating with parents, especially for students whose homes are relative far from the school and there are transportation constraints. i agree with that opinion "Students must not be allowed to bring hand-phone to school" because the teenager like us have emotions that haven't been stable so if we have hand-phone most of them save video porn in hand-phone and many teenager be victims of rape so that make the teenager's future dark. second the negative effect of hand-phone is we can forget homework when our girlfriend send some message and that make us can't concentration with our lesson.
so my conclusion is we should not bring hand-phone to school because that give negative effect to us and when we must give information to other people we can give that at home

i'am very agree with that statement because The impact of the use of HP with no clear intent was very detrimental to students and their parents, are also highly detrimental to the teacher in teaching and learning activities. I agree with that statement, according to me. The first distract the process of learning and teaching , such as the student operate the cellular in feature game, internet, FB or message if they are not interested in the subject or the teacher. The second most of the student have the saphislicated cellular. It means they can access internet every time and every where. Internet it’s like hypermarket. So they can upload wide variety sites. One of them is pornography one. According to the source of the world upload internet Indonesia is the fourth position in upload pornography site. It leads the sexual crime and sexual criminal, free sex, and married by accident. The third cellular can cried consumerism life. It’s one of the factor cause the life competitions among the students. It’s often the teacher are bothered by the losing of some cellular of course it distract the process of learning and teaching, because thr teacher nust search to each student. It make the suspiciousness. Based on the above argument, the school must aplicate the regulation about the prohibitions of bringing cellular at school. I disagree with the YO GA opinion about the hp used to view pornographic pictures and obscene words, because the school has given the prohibition to carry a camera phone, so students will not be able to save pornographic pictures on the hp, and not all students in sman 2 Lumajang say obscene, because students sman 2 Lumajang also get moral education, perhaps only a few students sman 2 lumajang which said obscene, for example you,,, thanks. I agree whit that statemen because I think 1. Hand-Phone can distrubour study, because we can't concentration whit our study in class when we have message or telephon from someone. 2. Hand-phone can distrub our healthy because the radiation from Hand-phone very dangerous for our healthy and can caused cancer. 3. with sophisticated technology allows students to access a pornographic video that could have a negative impact and very distrub so, I think not effective if we bring Hand-phone to school.

Just as students exchanged answers to test or deploy even the test questions to his friend in another class via mobile phones. this makes the teacher does not know whether the material he teaches is understood by the student or not. I think above statement is true and I agree with that statement because today, mobile phones are used by the students not only for communication purposes, but most of them use their mobile phones to cheat during tests, such as browsing the answers IN THe INTERNET, to the arena of cheating like send the answer by sms. so much a lot of 'mudharat' than the benefits.

Iam in line with this statement, because with the advanced features that available in hand phone (HP) such as: cameras, games,etc. It will disturb the concentration of students in their lessons at school. frequently,they were preoccupied with a call, sms, miscall from their friends and even from their own families. Even worse, they uses HP for cheating in the test and send the answers test to their friends and more. Sometimes, most of the student playing games,listening music, browsing while the teacher explains the lesson, and so on. thus, they can't absorb the material that their teacher give. If it is allowed, then the younger generation that we hope will become a slave's technology and to be an unresponsible person.
wow,,very crowded here,,:) i disagree with that statement, because for me handphone very important, cause my home far from school, i use handphone to notify my family at home when I had group work and come home late. i think if we good student, we wouldn't use handphone to help our test. So, if we use handphone very well and don't disturb our study, i think no problem to bring handphone to school, and i think students of SMADA will not use handphone to help their test, cause i trust students of SMADA is clever students and can do their test without cheating.

i'm in line with that statement about Students must not be allowed to bring hand-phone to school.first, it can make student do not focus with that lesson because disturbed with something in their hand-phone.in fact, students will play with their mobile phones when they are bored with the lessons at school.second, the student is a teenager who is still unstable emotions, they tend to want to know about something that is not yet known, mostly in negative terms. so, the conclusion we as student must not be allow bring handphone at school to avoid negative thing. i agree with your opinion, Bangkit. I support it about "back to him/her self". if cheating before exam like trying to find the question of exam, Some teacher said to me that you can look out for the question of the exam that will make you learn many things. Because the smart teachers will give the different questions in their exam. So, students will accomplish the different questions in their exam with the same difficulty. If the students use their mobile phones during exams to cheating, school can use the CCTV monitors to monitoring the students everytime, not only the exams, so the students willn't play at class, ex: many students open FB when the teacher go out for something.
I'm agree with that statement. There are many NEGATIVE things that we get from HP,especially for students that still "labile".. That negative things are:
1. Disturb Children Development
With the advanced features available in the hand phone (HP) such as: cameras, games (games) will interfere with students in their lessons at school. they'll be busy with calls, sms, miscall from their friends. and even worse, they use HP for cheating (cheating) in the test. Playing games while the teacher explains the lesson and so on. If it is allowed, then the generation that we hope will become slaves to technology.
2. effects of radiation
HP has the radiation that maybe can causes many diseases,such as cancer. it is the dangerous disease. so we mustn't bring HP for much of time. to reduce the chance of that disease infection, we can left our HP at house.
3. Very potentially influence students' attitudes and behavior.
If there is no control of teachers and parents. HP can be used to deploy images containing pornographic elements,and it makes the students become IMMORAL
5. waste our money
With HP, we will increase our spending, especially if HP is only used for things that are not useful,then it'll only being a waste.

I think it's not 100% right. in fact,there are so many students that still cheating during exams,and they used HP. Even there are so many news that reported the students that used HP during UAN.. and maybe in SMAN 2 Lumajang,there are also students that still cheating by using HP. so,if you said that "it back to yourself," it'll be even worse. because without the parents and teachers guidance,the students will be "wilder" of using HP for cheating..

I agree with that statment, because if we bring hand-phone to school we will get many negative impact. Firstly, bring hand-phone can disturbing condition for learning. For excample, if the student's hand-phone was sounds when we studying in the class. Second, if we bring hand-phone to school, the student will not listen teachers to teach with chatting, listen the song in hand-phone, playing the game in hand-phone,etc. Third, the hand-phone also can make the students behave badly by sending videos of violence and other videos. I personally disagree what that statement that students must not be allowed to bring handphone. nowadays in globalitation era, hp is necessary for our life. I think hp is so important for me because it brings many benefits. FIRST, hp can help us to cintact with another people. when we want to ask our mother, fother or etc, to pick us up we can contact them with our hp by phone or sending message. SECOND, hp can help us to connect to the internet. when we need more information about subject that we dont know or we not quite understand with the subject we can use our hp to connect to the internet to get more information. THIRD, hp can help us to solve many problems at school. when we do a practicum, you all have known that in practicum especially biology, we need to documented our practicum result like we take the pict of our practicum result we can use our hp's camera. and sometimes hp can help us when we have problems with math, chemistry, physic, etc, that consists of arithmetic with calculator or converter apps (WHEN STUDYING NOT WHEN EXAMINATION)

according to buyung's opinion: second the negative effect of hand-phone is we can forget homework when our girlfriend send some message and that make us can't concentration with our lesson. I think, if we have girl/boyfriend, we can leran to share time with him/her. we can learn how to share time between doing homework and sending sms. or we can tell him/her that we must doing our homework first so they cant bother us and after doing homework or study we can continued sending sms with or girl/boyfriend.

Yes, school should prohibit students from bringing their mobile phone if mobile Phones only have negative effects. But all of us have already know that mobile phones give us many advantages. Those advantages that make mobile phones can't escape from our life, right?
Let's start with modern era.. In this modern era, people need a fast and reliable communication facilities such as mobile phone. This kind of need was caused by the advanced era. More advanced the era is, people also need more advanced facilities to fulfill their needs. For example, take the car racers. They can't win a race if they still sticked to their old and unimproved cars. They must improve their cars to win a race. It just the same for the communications. You can't just always go home or go to the office to call someone by phone if you are in an urgent condition.
For the porn issue, I think you can't erase the behavior of the students who have been addicted to the porns by forbid them bringing their phone to the school. They stiil can watch or see porns in their computers or mobile phones later at their home or somwhere else. How could you change that kind of behavior by just forbid them bringing their mobile phones? It can only changed by themselves, not by anybody else. Still, students need mobile phones more to communicate each other rather than porns, because that's the main function of mobile phone, right?
For the cheating issues, school actually can ask the students to turn off their mobile phones during the test or give their mobile phones to the teachers when the test is about to start. Actually is that simple. If there are some students still don't want to give their mobile phones, just examine their pockets or bags. If clear, just move on. That's it.
So why students must forbidden to bring mobile phones while mobile phones are useful until they can make people need them? I disagree with the main statement above.

wow,,many statements fight here,, but if i may conclude, HandPhone can be negative or positive effect depend on our self. if we can distinguish between good and bad, i think HandPhone can increase our knowledge as student. but if our mind still like a child we'll always think just bad effect or just good effect from something. We often hark some student said, " My Handphone is My Live," it was a statement that tells us the important of a phone-cell. For example, when we were looking for some information from our friends, or our friends want to give us some information, handphone become a very important for communication tool. And hanphone also become a very important thing for student that didn't bring a notebook (laptop) to school for getting some important information, it can be easier way than we borrow a notebook from our friend. Well, there are many reason why I'm in line with that statement. first, it simply reason if thats happen. it can disturb students learning. example : when your phone vibrating, automatically you loss concentration of learning. second, we know that the goverment has for students to bring hand-phone. they thought that bring hand-phone unbenefit us. instead, it can bring us easily to do some criminalizm. third, like Nuril Fauziah reason, that Hand-phone can annoy our healty. and can cused cancer.

My first reason is it can give negative effect to student, like the students usually play handphone during the teacher explain lesson.
My second reason is handphone can destroy the student's moral, because 75% student use handphone to save porn and something can make student's moral be bad
My third reason is handphone make student to be lazier to study, because in handphone has many interest application like game, browsing, chatting, and etc.

i disagree with statement that forbide students to bring handphone to school. i think it can make student lose out. like we know that Hp is very important for all of people especially for students. they can use their handphone anything they want,such as:they want contact their parents. student who stay far from school need contact with their parents.for example when they went to go home,they can ask their parents to pick them up. actually with Hp,it mean they can communication easily with their parents. beside making contact with their parents, student also can contact with teachers. for example when study biologi,student have to in BIO A room,but because their teacher can't to go to that room finally their teacher ask student to move to other room. with Hp teacher can send some message to one of student that they must moving room. I was in line with the opinion. We know that HP now includes many features. For example, just like music player, video player etc. And also, we can store anything in our HP. In other words, we could save something that is forbidden in our HP. Such as video or film that have not time for us to see. That was the first.

First, we are created as social beings who need human interaction to another, whether far or near we need to communicate by send a message or talk with some peoples. Second, many activities in high school such as practicum in the laboratory that requires mobile phone as a camera to take the picture and as a tool for counting when we count the numbers that consist of decimal digits. Last, we can use the internet facilities when we didn't bring our laptops because laptop is large and heavy, so it's make some trouble to us.
That's my reasons if students are prohibited to bring the mobile phones to school, i think it's better if the teacher allowed the students to bring mobile phone to school.

First , with handphone we can sent short message service and call to all people in my life if we need them. Firstly, as astudent we need to communicate with our family, especialy our parents at home. When we will go home, and we need our parents to pick up us, we need to send a message or call them with handphone.

I support it about "back to him/her self". if cheating before exam like trying to find the question of exam, Some teacher said to me that you can look out for the question of the exam that will make you learn many things. Because the smart teachers will give the different questions in their exam. So, students will accomplish the different questions in their exam with the same difficulty. If the students use their mobile phones during exams to cheating, school can use the CCTV monitors to monitoring the students everytime, not only the exams, so the students willn't play at class, ex: many students open FB when the teacher go out for something.

I'm agree with that statement. There are many NEGATIVE things that we get from HP,especially for students that still "labile".. That negative things are:
1. Disturb Children Development
With the advanced features available in the hand phone (HP) such as: cameras, games (games) will interfere with students in their lessons at school. they'll be busy with calls, sms, miscall from their friends. and even worse, they use HP for cheating (cheating) in the test. Playing games while the teacher explains the lesson and so on. If it is allowed, then the generation that we hope will become slaves to technology.

FIRST, hp can help us to cintact with another people. when we want to ask our mother, fother or etc, to pick us up we can contact them with our hp by phone or sending message.

More advanced the era is, people also need more advanced facilities to fulfill their needs. For example, take the car racers. They can't win a race if they still sticked to their old and unimproved cars. They must improve their cars to win a race. It just the same for the communications. You can't just always go home or go to the office to call someone by phone if you are in an urgent condition.
For the porn issue, I think you can't erase the behavior of the students who have been addicted to the porns by forbid them bringing their phone to the school. They stiil can watch or see porns in their computers or mobile phones later at their home or somwhere else. How could you change that kind of behavior by just forbid them bringing their mobile phones? It can only changed by themselves, not by anybody else. Still, students need mobile phones more to communicate each other rather than porns, because that's the main function of mobile phone, right?

I am in accord with Aidatul's opinion, because handphone is a very important thing that we must bring it everywhere, specially at school. We often hark some student said, " My Handphone is My Live," it was a statement that tells us the important of a phone-cell. For example, when we were looking for some information from our friends, or our friends want to give us some information, handphone become a very important for communication tool.
